Traditional costume		 This traditional costume is suitable for all ages. Beautful pallu (thallaippu) in the front makes the costume very rich and colourful. For children will have a small fleet in the front instead of thavani. For adults the top portion of the costume is called attached thavani.

Skirt costume 		The skirt costumes are used for padams and small items in Bharathanatyam this costume is comfortable and easy to wear. This costume is well fitted for ages above 15 years. Different style can be chosn like skirt model with thallaippu in the front and skirt model with cross fleets attached to the normal fleets.
Most of the dancers like this three fan costume dress. The borders around the legs and the neatly fleeted front portion give a nice look.

This pattern will be well fitted for Gents. A katcham at the back make the difference between kuchipudi ad Bharathantyam. This cross fan costumes can be used for devotional characters like Muruga & Krishna.
Odissi is teh Traditional dance of Orissa. This costume is same like that of Traditional Bharathanatyam costume.
This is the dance of Kerala performed by a solo female dancer. This costume colour is white with golden borders. The skirt is fully fleeted from front to back.
Kuchipudi is the traditional dance of Andhra Pradesh. A long fleet in the centre of the costume with the border, back katcham and a small fan by the side makes this a typical style.
